I was having a meeting with my team when it hit me, an epiphany, why not invite them to join me on my personal #100Day challenge?
The idea was inspired by the premise that any goal you set, can be achieved within 100 days, with careful planning and simple achievable bite sized action items (of course). The end outcome of the challenge is to achieve a level of fitness above any you have had before.
How it works
The workout is simple: 6 exercises, done over 8 rounds of 1 min activities alternating with 8 5-40 sets.
Exercise 1: Start with russian twists for 1 minute
Exercise 2: Push ups
This is where the 5-40 starts. for the first round do 5 push ups, on the second round do 10, keep adding 5 reps for every round until you reach the 8th round
Exercise 3: Jump squats
Follow the push ups with 1 minute of jump squats
Exercise 4: Dips
Again this is a 5-40, therefore you start the first set with 5 dips, then 10 and so forth until you reach 40 dips on the 8th round.
Exercise 5: Stretch (Side) lunges
Follow the dips with 1 minute of stretch (Side) lunges
Exercise 6: Towel pull downs
Finally conclude with a 5-40 of towel pull downs. Again, its 5 pull downs, then 10 then 15 going up each round until you are doing 40 in round 8. PS my buddy below is using a stretch band, a towel will work just as fine.
